Why Didn’t I Hear About This??
As promised, here goes,
As per a WSJ article dated July 17, 2008: The Journal reports that Jackson, Mississippi Mayor Frank Melton has entered a not guilty plea in a case related to a “sledgehammer attack on an alleged crackhouse.”
Confusing enough as it is, right? Well, the story goes on…
Apparently Melton and his two bodyguards are accused of, “leading an entourage of young men to the house and using sticks and a sledgehammer to knock out walls and windows in 2006.” They were acquitted of state charges in this case earlier last year.
I apologize, but I have absolutely no idea what this case is about or whate exactly happened, and for what reason it did. However, I believe that if a Mayor and his bodyguards are even being accused of such a strange crime, something must be very wrong with the picture.
